My Learning Goal

I want to improve in Reading. I want to be able to read tricky words.

How am I going to achieve my goal? List strategies that you can use to work towards achieving your goal.

Read more at home and school Look at the letters Look for patterns and sounds I know Chunk the word into parts that I might know Ask someone to help me if I don’t know the word (teachers, students, parents)

How will I know when I have achieved my goal?

When I can read tricky words on my own.

I won’t give up on things when they get hard. I’ll be asking more questions and for help when I need it.
